With my mk6.5 fiesta I'd say I only see one strip work to heat the front windscreen. I might look into this and see the condition of those ribbons.
I seem to have a problem with my bluetooth system. I can connect the 'phone with no problem but if I want to receive a call, page 172 of the owners manual states that either the Function Button 1 (which does work) OR pressing the MODE button on the remote control which I assume is the thing on the steering wheel. Pressing the Mode button does

1. You need to add one song in your iTunes Library in your iPhone. (*.mp3 file) 2. Conect your iPhone via USB, at this point the radio begins to play that song automatically. 3. Open Spotify and play any song or playlist.. 4. Enjoy 🙂. I was using Deezer for 4 years and this trick resolve the problem.
The button to release the hatch stopped working. The trunk still opens if I use the FOB (motor is still fine). I got a new button from the dealer and that did not fix the issue. 6. Replace the USB Cable You Use With Android Auto. When using Android Auto on your car's display, you need a USB cable to connect your phone to your vehicle (unless you're using Android Auto wirelessly ). Fiesta is a 59 plate zetec. Previously had lots of problems with the bonnet cable needing adjusting during its MOT so that it can be opened using the pull-lever in the driver's side footwell. However, it has a flat battery and the catch is not working (I assume the same issue as it has had numero
If all of the buttons work, except the phone button, it tells me the wires that carry the switch inputs are good, and the module is receiving the inputs. It leads me to suspect the problem is most likely the button itself. Usually, if there's a module problem the module just shuts down and no functions work. Here that is not the case.
My vol- is still erratic but i'm convinced it's not the steering wheel button. It might work for 2 days then not work for maybe 5 days. Course, if I take it to a dealer during the 5 days it's guaranteed to work ok. Thing is, I can go for a drive and it prolly won't work, if that's the case it won't work during the whole drive.

Replace the battery. If the button cell battery in the key fob of Fiesta is replaced incorrectly or a battery is unsuitable, it can damage the vehicle key. Only replace drained batteries with new batteries in the same voltage, size, and specification. Make sure the battery is facing in the right direction when inserting it.

Hi. My 2010 Fiesta has a weird problem with radio controla. It's started a few weeks ago - it wasn't possible to turn the volume up nor down both from wheel controls and center console. A few days later the same thing occurred and I realized that now all buttons aren't working. I unplugged all radio/center panel connectors and plugged them
